We told you last month about NewFound Road’s plans to cut a live album on December 4 at The Down Home in Johnson City, TN. Now comes word that their live show that night will also be captured on video, with Rounder set to release both the live album and the concert DVD in 2011.
Matt Zervos, who shot a music video for the band last fall, will supervise the video shoot next weekend, and he and NFR’s Tim Shelton will work together on the final edit.
Tim tells us that the concert DVD will include interviews and bonus footage as well as the evening’s musical performance. Jim VanCleve will join them on fiddle for the live show.
Ticket information for anyone who would like to attend the taping can be found online.
The CD is expected to hit in the Spring of 2011, with the DVD to follow in the Fall.
Should be a good’n.
