New look for The Clay Hess Band

Ray CossinThe Clay Hess Band will have a new look for the 2016 season.

Nick Keen left the group in 2015, to be replaced by Dustin Frame on mandolin. Clay has also brought Ray Cossin in to play fiddle. Both should be familiar faces from previous work in bluegrass. Dustin worked recently for Audie Blaylock, and Ray has been working with Johnny Staats.

Remaining from last year are Clay and his son Brennan on guitar, Irl Hees on bass, and Luke Montgomery on banjo. Clay handles most of the lead vocals with some help from Irl.

Dustin FrameThe band is hard at work in the studio, expecting to release their second band album later this spring.
