Long based around the singing of husband/wife team Brad and Lori Lambert, New Outlook will have a new look when they roll into SPBGMA next month in Nashville.
Lori tells us that they have brought in a new guitarist, Jeremy Moore, along with Jeff Hardin on fiddle and Brian Scott on mandolin. Lori’s on bass with Brad on banjo.
The Northern Ohio band also has a new album in the works, titled The River Town Tragedy, with pre-release copies available February 4. It will initially be offered as an EP for only $5 with several of the tracks that will be included on the full-length CD.
New Outlook will be prominent at SPBGMA, performing on the main stage Sunday, and in their showcase suite in room 2125 at the Sheraton Music City Hotel. They are co-sponsoring the suite with the Marshall Bluegrass Festival and the Norwalk Bluegrass Festival. Other showcase performers include Blue Mafia, Jeff Brown & Still Lonesome, Steve Gulley & New Pinnacle, and the Deer Creek Boys.
