Memories Of The Past from Big Country Bluegrass

Memories Of The Past - Big Country BluegrassRebel Records has released a first single from their upcoming album from Big Country Bluegrass, Memories Of The Past.

The track is I’m Putting On My Leaving Shoes, a new song from Tom T. & Dixie Hall and Troy Engle. It demonstrates that the band still has a handle on the hard driving, old school bluegrass sound that has become their trademark, despite some personnel changes. The single is available for sale now from iTunes, and for download by radio programmers at Airplay Direct.

The new album features current members Tommy Sells on mandolin, Teresa Sells on guitar, Lynwood Lunsford on banjo, Tony King on bass and Eddie Gill on guitar and lead vocals. Don Rigsby guests on harmony vocals and fiddle, with BCB alum Billy Hawks on fiddle. Tim Laughlin now plays fiddle with the band on the road.

Here’s a sample from the single.

Look for Memories Of The Past on June 18.
