Lonely Heartstring Band to KCA Artists

hearstringsKCA Artists in Nashville, formerly Keith Case & Associates, has announced the signing of New England’s Lonely Heartstring Band to the agency for exclusive representation.

The group has been steadily on the rise since their somewhat accidental inception three years ago. Formed when a friend asked if they could assemble a wedding band to play all Beatles songs on traditional bluegrass instruments, these Boston-based players have continued to work together, developing a very modern, pop-inflected variety of bluegrass.

Members include George Clements on guitar, Patrick M’Gonigle on fiddle, Gabe Hirshfeld on banjo, Matt Witler on mandolin, and Charles Clements on bass. They have nearly completed a debut album for Rounder Records.

Here’s a live video of one of their original songs, The Tide:

Keep an eye out for these guys. They have something special in this Lonely Heartstring Band.
