The TRI-STATE BLUEGRASS ASSOCIATION was formed in 1978 in Hannibal MO. It was recognized and given a Charter as a Non-Profit Organization in 1983 by the State of Missoui. The purpose of this organization is to promote the education and enjoyment of traditional and bluegrass music and preserve the folk traditions from which this music was developed.
Our publication, “The BLUEBOOK” Band & Festival Guide is published annually (33 years in 2013) and is available for purchase by calling (660-341-3762) or from our website. It contains information on bands, festivals & other events, commercial/retail information, RV Parks & Campgrounds, Associations and the State Calendar of Festival Listings for the year.
Our goal is to provide bluegrass fans with the year of Bluegrass in a single publication.
