Chestnut Creek School of Arts offers classes and events year-round in traditional music, heritage crafts, and contemporary arts. Music workshops include fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, dulcimer, autoharp, bass, singing, and flatfooting as scheduled. Occasional concerts. Showcases, discussions, and exhibits on bluegrass and old-time themes during the Galax Old Fiddlers’ Convention. Woodworking studio offers luthier classes as well.
