Late night jam from DelFest 2014

Event Details

As they have for the past few years, DelFest has posted video from the last night/late night jam with the Travelin’ McCourys at the 2014 iteration of DelFest. Each year the festival closes out with the McCourys jamming on stage with whichever acts are still hanging around at the end.

On this night Cody Kilby was filling the rotating guitar spot in the band, along with regulars Ronnie McCoury on mandolin, Rob McCoury on banjo, Jason Carter on fiddle, and Alan Bartram on bass. They are joined throughout the set by members of the California Honeydrops, and Jeff Austin.

The entire hour and half set is included in the video. It’s a jammy good time, and shows why these guys are such a big hit on the jam grass circuit across the US.

Trigger Warning: If you are offended by pickups or effects on acoustic instruments, don’t watch.
