Kara Kiker to Full Assurance

Kara KikerKindred Records bluegrass Gospel group Kevin Carter and The Full Assurance Band welcomes new addition 16 year old fiddle player Kara Kiker.

Kiker, who will assume the duties as fiddle player and harmony singer for the North Carolina based band, actually brings a lot of additional talents to the group. She also plays guitar, bass and piano. Kevin Carter says, “I was amazed at Kara’s talent when I first met her. She has a passion for the music and you can feel it when she plays.”

She began her music career on violin at age of nine, and at age of 11 she was performing with the Cornelius youth symphony. When she was 13 she was promoted to the position of first chair concert master.

Last summer Kiker got some valuable experience traveling and performing with Gospel group the Hinkle Family. However, she loves to perform bluegrass gospel music mostly.

A born again Christian, she is devoted to her church and family and she is excited about her opportunity to help spread the Gospel with the Full Assurance Band.
Kiker lives in Concord, North Carolina, and in her spare time she enjoys riding horses, four-wheeling, hunting, fishing and generally being with her friends.
