Junior Sisk having spinal surgery

Junior SiskJunior Sisk is scheduled for spinal cord surgery next Thursday (2/12). He has been diagnosed as having a bulging disc in his neck, which has been causing him pain and restricted mobility in his right hand. That’s a big problem for a bluegrass picker!

He says that he won’t miss any shows, and expects to be all healed up in time for Bluegrass on the Beach in Lake Havasu, AZ the first weekend in March.

Junior did say that he regrets that he won’t be able to join everyone here at the SPBGMA convention this weekend in Nashville. Next year for sure.

We’ll have a report Thursday on how the surgery goes.

I wonder if he’ll get a camo sling.
