James King back in Virginia

James KingWe have some news on James King’s medical situation. He has been released from the hospital in Missouri where he had been this past few weeks and transported to his home in Boones Mill, VA. Complications with his blood thinning medication required that he be readmitted to a hospital in nearby Roanoke.

The following statement was sent from the James King Band, with James’ approval.

“A full and strong recovery is expected, although it may take a few weeks.

In the meantime James is so very pleased with all the well wishes and support he has received from friends and fans and wants to offer a hearty ‘thank you’ to everyone.

James is not residing at his former address in Danville. Upon release from the hospital, James will be at Boones Mill, Virginia, and friends and fans are encouraged to send cards and letters, and all communications, to him at P.O. Box 13 Boones Mill, Virginia 24065, or help him out via The James King Fund at any SunTrust bank.

James is anxious to get back on the road just as fast as he can, and hopes to see you soon.”
