Hats Off To Bluegrass on RFD-TV this month

hats_off_thWe know that many of our readers are regular viewers of Reno’s Old Time Music on RFD-TV. Each Saturday evening Ronnie Reno plays and sings the music he grew up on with his dad, Don Reno, and the classic songs of bluegrass and country music.

During January the show is featuring a special set of programs highlighting the best of bluegrass from today, along with a look back at some superb performances from the past.

Running January 16-21, Sierra Hull will guest host with Ronnie to showcase her new music, share stories about the bluegrass life, and pick some mandolin with the host. They will also look back at some previous musical guests. Then on the 23rd and 28th, it’s Rhonda Vincent who will do the same.

On January 30 and February 4 Ronnie will focus on the greats of bluegrass from his video vault. Over the course of these two shows, look for live performances from Bill Monroe, Mac Wiseman, The Stanley Brothers, Reno & Smiley, Lester Flatt, Jim & Jesse, The Lewis Family, comedy gold from Paul Warren and Josh Graves, and a previously unaired video from The Bluegrass Alliance with Tony Rice and Sam Bush.

Reno’s Old Time Music airs both Saturday evenings and Thursday mornings. Check the RFD-TV schedule for details.
