Friday at the Roscoe Canady fest

Event Details

Friday started out with a fishing tournament in the campground pond. One fisherman caught two bass and a catfish.

Our emcee this weekend is Jo Odom.

The music started in the afternoon with the Palmetto Ramblers from Florida.

They were followed by the Hard Road Trio from New Mexico and the great Marty Raybon and Full Circle.

Greg Bird, a local radio personality did a solo set to kick off the evening show.

Marty Raybon’s fiddler, Isaac Smith did a number with Charlie Hoskins of the Palmetto Ramblers. Marty closed out the evening with a rousing set.

Saturday will bring Newtown from Kentucky and Blue Highway.
