Free video download for Eddie Adcock contributors

The Banjo of Eddie AdcockWe heard this week from Happy Traum, who runs Homespun Videos with his wife, Jane. He expressed the anguish of so many in the bluegrass world in seeing the tough financial position that Eddie and Martha Adcock see themselves in, and wanted to add something to the effort to help raise funds for their relief.

While Eddie’s health is strong, especially for a 75 year old man who has experienced both open heart and brain surgery in the past few years, the news generated by his medical travails has led to a dramatic drop in booking for this year. Fans and friends are banding together to help a bluegrass brother in need.

Happy has offered a free download of one of Eddie’s instructional DVDs to anyone making a donation of $35 or more. There is both a bluegrass banjo and a finger-style guitar Homespun project with Eddie, and either is available as a free gift to donors.

Simply use the PayPal button below to make a donation between now and July 1. Within a few days, you will receive a free download code that can be utilized when ordering from Homespun’s Platform Purple online shop. Please be patient in awaiting your code, as this will not be an automated system.

To date, nearly $2800 has been donated, and Eddie and Martha are overwhelmed by the response. They send their most gracious thanks to all who have contributed.

Let’s keep this going!
