The Bluegrass & Old Time Music Association is holding their monthly indoor bluegrass festival on Sunday, April 21st. There will be five bands on the main stage, starting at 1 pm. Bands scheduled to appear include Circle Around the Sun (roots), Ed Austin (country), Eagle Ridge (bluegrass), Yankee Dime (roots) and The Last Whipporwill Band (bluegrass). The main stage kicks off at 1 pm and runs until 5 pm.
In addition to the bands performing, there will be three moderated workshops: the Old Time Jam, the Strictly Bluegrass Jam and the Jamming Workshop. Everyone is welcome to attend with their acoustic instrument. There is no extra fee for the workshops. It’s included in the price of admission.
We will also have lots of small jamming rooms available for people to meet up and spontaneously jam with other people. You never know who you will meet at one of our jams!
The location is at the Embury United Methodist Church Auditorium, 49 Church Street, Little Silver, NJ 07739. The doors open at 12 noon, and everything starts at 1 pm and runs until 5 pm. Tickets are $8 at the door.
