Burbank Jam

All levels of stringed instrument players are welcome to join this friendly outdoor jam which occurs nearly every Sunday from 12 noon until at least 3 pm. Regardless of how long you’ve played, we encourage you to come by and pick. You can always pass on solos and you never have to call a tune. If you are a spectator, you are welcome here! Dancing is encouraged, and if you like to sing, even better!

Mostly bluegrass and some country tunes tend to be played as well as some fiddle & banjo tunes. All ages and (mainly) bluegrass instruments are welcome to come out and play. Meet-up at the corner of Griffith Park Dr and Clark Ave. Ample parking is available in the lot and on the streets.

Each Friday a group email is sent (via bcc) to either confirm or in some cases postpone the upcoming jam in the event of inclement weather. If you would like to be put on that list, please send an email and request to be added.
