The last weekend in January will again be a hot one at the Florence Events Center.
Over two days, seven outstanding groups will bring smokin’ hot bluegrass, heartwarming new and traditional folk, and foot-stompin’ Americana as the Florence Winter Music Festival returns January 26 and 27.
The festival actually kicks off on the 25th with Thursday evening’s open mic “Take the Stage!” hootenanny. There will also be open jam sessions, performance and songwriting workshops, and great food and drink
throughout the event. “By popular demand, we just made more two-day passes available for the festival. This is the best way to get the
most out of the event,” said organizer Rachel Pearson. “Our line-up of world-class performers includes Friday night’s headliners Never Come Down, the Henhouse Prowlers, Beth Wood, Crying Uncle Bluegrass Band, Becky
Buller Banjo Duo, Josh Goforth, and Saturday night’s headliners Appalachian Roadshow. Each has earned rave reviews from devoted fans, and from industry titans including the International Bluegrass Music Association.
Individual show tickets are selling fast too. Tickets are available at the Florence Events Center and its website, EventCenter.org.”
