Double Or Nothing video from The Rigneys

Double Or Nothing - The RigneysThe Rigneys have released a live performance video of the title track from their current album on Dark Shadow Records, Double Or Nothing.

It was recorded during a show this past November 15 at the South Jackson Civic Center in Tullahoma, TN. The entire show was captured on video, and additional clips will be made available over the coming months.

This song, written by Andrew Rigney and album producer Stephen Mougin, demonstrates Andrew’s vocal and guitar skills, along with his younger brother Grant’s on mandolin, and his dad, Mark’s, on banjo. Mom (Melissa) holds it all together on bass.

Mougin tells us that they wanted to use these live clips to let people know how strong the group is on stage.

“The Rigneys have been on the bluegrass scene for a number of years, though many folks may not be familiar with their show. We wanted fans, DJ’s, and promoters to hear what they currently sound like, and what they are capable of as a live band. The group has been working hard over the last couple of years and has taken giant strides as musicians and entertainers.”

The show was shot by AJ Schubert, a video editor at CMT, assisted by Josh Mendez. Audio tracking was handled by Sam Bush Band road manager and monitor guy Rob Stokes, with Mougin doing the final mix.

In addition to the other live clips from the November concert, a concept music video is on the way as well.
