NPR.org has posted the audio from the recent Mountain Stage performance by Dierks Bentley, along with The Travelin’ McCourys.
They visited the show during the promotional tour they did in support of Up On The Ridge, Bentley’s latest CD on Capitol. As we have mentioned repeatedly this past few months, the album focuses on his roots in bluegrass and acoustic music, and includes guest artists like Chris Thile and Punch Brothers, Del McCoury, Alison Krauss, Stuart and many others.
On Mountain Stage he offered a number of songs from Up On The Ridge, and a couple of his country hits, given the acoustic treatment.
