Darrell Webb’s new mandolin

Event Details

Darrell Webb got an early Christmas present this past weekend – a new mandolin from Chris Shelton with Hook Mandolins.

But it’s not just a new axe. Chris presented Darrell with the first Darrell Webb signature model Hook mandolin. Webb said that this was the first time in his 20 years of playing professionally that he has had a signature model, and he is way beyond excited.

His Hook model is made with an Adirondack spruce top, with curly maple back and sides. It has a dark lacquer finish, with Darrell’s signature on the top. More details about the mandolin, which sells for $3500, can be found online.

Here’s a video Darrell made when he first got his.
