Each year the International Bluegrass Music Association presents a Songwriter Showcase during their World Of Bluegrass Convention. A number of songwriters are chosen each year by a selection committee to perform their songs before the assembled audience of artists, producers, and other writers.
The Darrell Brothers, a comedy duo of singers and songwriters, will serve as hosts, and will surely keep the mood light for the showcase to be held on Wednesday, September 30 at 9:40 a.m. in the Raleigh Convention Center. Bluegrass fans will remember the Brothers for their hilarious singles, Mountain Twerker and Healthcare Dot Gov.
Songs to be performed include:
- Grandpa’s Overalls – Lisa Bushman, Dale Ann Bradley & Joe Newberry
- Anyway – Louisa Branscomb
- The Mountain Wayfarers – Andrew Preston
- Rules of My Heart – Annalisa Tornfelt
- Ain’t No Good Goodbye – Teresa Neal
