Things are starting to heat up between two of bluegrass music’s prominent brother acts. As part of their campaign to win the coveted hosting position at the 2016 International Bluegrass Music Awards, The Darrell Bothers have taken to impugning the integrity and bluegrass street cred of The Gibson Brothers, who claimed that honor last year.
They have gone so far as to share a screen capture from Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show that they claim shows Eric and Leigh Gibson participating in Beyoncé’s controversial halftime performance.
I’m shocked… shocked, I say.
