Daniel Patrick to The Roys

Event Details

Daniel PatrickJust ahead of next week’s release of their next album, Gypsy Runaway Train, The Roys have announced that Daniel Patrick will be touring with the band on banjo.

Only 18 years old, Daniel already has more than a decade’s experience playing with his family band in Ohio. The first show in his new gig will be this weekend (5/30-31) at the University Station Bluegrass Festival in Auburn, AL.

Lee and Elaine Roy are delighted with their new hire.

“We are very excited to be joined by such a young and fantastic banjo player. He is a professional both on and off the stage and will be a great addition to our show.”

And Daniel is psyched for the opportunity.

“I am VERY excited to be joining the band. I have a feeling it’s going to be an awesome road ahead for us all.”

We’ll have more details next week on the new CD.
