Dan Eubanks to Special C

Special Consensus: Dan Eubanks, Greg Cahill, Dustin Benson, Rick FarisSpecial Consensus has announced a new member: Dan Eubanks has joined the band playing bass.

Greg Cahill, Special C’s founder, banjo player and fearless leader shared a few words about their latest hire.

“Dan Eubanks is a great musician and a mighty nice person. He has been playing with us for about two months now and we are very happy to ‘officially’ welcome him into the band – he is a fantastic addition to Special C.

He played bluegrass music while growing up in the St. Louis, MO area and eventually earned a Masters degree in Jazz Performance there before relocating to Nashville about ten years ago. Dan toured with blues and rock power trio bands prior to going on the road with Special C, and he continues to teach bass and work studio sessions in Nashville when the band is not on the road.

We are very fortunate to have a great bass player and singer join our ranks, and look forward to recording and continued touring with Dan.”

He joins Dustin Benson on guitar and Rick Faris on mandolin, with Cahill on banjo.

You can keep tabs on the band online.
