Congratulations Jason and Grace!

Event Details

Wilson/Davis wedding October 9 in Independence, VA It was a true life bluegrass wedding in Virginia over the weekend.

Jason Davis, banjo player with Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice, and Grace Wilson, bass player with Loose Strings, were married on Sunday, October 9 at at Ward Manor in Independence, VA. The ceremony was officiated by Grace’s dad, Terry Wilson, who is a Primitive Baptist minister. The wedding site is close to her hometown of Galax.

Junior Sisk sang a poignant ballad during the service, and Lindsey Nale, Grace’s Loose Strings bandmate, sang during the bride’s processional.

Attendees say that it was a lovely fall day, with just a bit of a breeze left over from hurricane Matthew, against a bright, sunny sky. Surely they had spent the week prior fretting about the weather.

The happy couple are now honeymooning in the Dominican Republic.

Congratulations Jason and Grace!
