Colby Laney to Larry Stephenson Band

Colby Laney has been announced as the new guitarist with the Larry Stephenson Band. He will start this weekend.

Previously, Laney had performed with Volume Five.

Larry is delighted with his newest addition, and remarks on the differences between the younger and more senior members of the band.

What Really Matters - Larry Stephenson“I’m very happy to have Colby with us. He’s a very talented young man from that wonderful pool of musician at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. I now have two from ETSU, Colby and my bass player Danny Stewart.

Kenny Ingram and I got our education from Jimmy Martin and Bill Harrell, the school of hard knocks!

Colby is going to fit the band very well and we’re all looking forward to working with him.”

Larry also mentioned that copies of his latest CD, What Really Matters, are available now on the band web site, ahead of its official release date of May 29 on Compass.
