Clevenger and Marshall to Kevin Prater Band

Event Details

The Kevin Prater BandThe Kevin Prater Band has recently welcomed two new members. Albon Lee Clevenger has come aboard on fiddle, as has Clyde Marshall on guitar and mandolin. Both will also share in the vocals.

Clevenger had been performing recently with Cumberland Gap Connection, while Marshall has been with Don Rigsby & Midnight Call.

They join Tom Timberlake on banjo and Danny Stiltner on bass. Prater switches back and forth between mandolin and banjo, with Marshall grabbing the other. Kevin is the featured lead vocalist.

Bluegrass fans will remember Kevin Prater for his tenure with James King, playing mandolin and singing tenor.

They specialize in traditional bluegrass with soulful vocals. You can follow their tour schedule online.
