Body and Soul video from The Seldom Scene

Event Details

The Seldom Scene

Smithsonian Folkways has released a new music video from the recent Seldom Scene album, Long Time.  It’s set in the studio as they cover their own version of With Body and Soul, a song contained on the very first Seldom Scene release, Act I, in 1972.

Their original recording had John Starling singing lead, a role he reprises here. The song also features guest vocals from Emmylou Harris, though she does not appear in the video.
