Once again, noted nature photographer Kevin Dooley is hosting a group of amateur camera snappers and bluegrass students on a South African Safari in November 2016.
Dan Boner, Director of the Bluegrass, Old Time & Country Music Studies department at East Tennessee State University will be leading each day’s workshops in both individual and group playing on all the bluegrass instruments, and Kevin will lead twice-daily trips into the Madikwe Game Reserve to allow for up-close encounters with large African game.
Attendees will have the chance to photograph elephants, lions, rhinoceros and more in their native habitat, and study each day with Kevin to improve their own skills with the cameras.
Accommodations provided are of the highest quality, including gourmet meals during your stay.
Dan has created this brief video to explain the plans for this unique opportunity.
