Bluegrass artists and public radio

Event Details

Craig Havighurst is a fairly prominent member of the bluegrass community. He is a member of the IBMA Board of Directors, Senior Producer for the Music City Roots radio/TV program, and an occasional correspondent for Nashville’s NPR affiliate, WPLN.

Since the beginning of April, Craig has undertaken a mission to convince bluegrass artists to participate more actively in Public Radio Music Month this year, and he has created this video appeal for readers of Bluegrass Today. His message is simple: if you want to get the attention of public radio in your area, use this opportunity before the end of the month.

Well said. Thanks, Craig.
