Bill Murray at The Station Inn

Event Details

Bill Murray

If you were at Nashville’s Station Inn on January 10 to see the world famous Steeldrivers, you might have spied another celebrity in the crowd. Television and movie star, Bill Murray – a huge fan of the band – was in attendance.

Murray met the ‘Drivers when they worked on Get Low, a film he was in with Robert Duvall and Sissy Spacek in 2010. He fell in love with their music, and told them to expect him sometime in Nashville. Bill is also planning to catch them the next time they are in Charleston, where he resides.

Here’s the Get Low trailer to refresh your memory.
