Banjos in Bath

Event Details

Jamming on the street at the Bath Banjo FestivalNo, not like that.

We’re talking about the city of Bath, two hours west of London, England.

June 26-28, 2009, the streets of Bath will be overflowing with banjos. Those are the dates for this year’s Bath International Banjo Festival.

The festival is not bluegrass specific, it’s all things banjo, welcoming all musical styles that utilize the banjo. Two bands will kick off the festival with a concert in the St. James Wine Vaults on Friday evening. On Saturday there will be screenings of two silent movies with live banjo music accompaniment.

All the details are here.
