
The Bluegrass and Chili Festival in Claremore, OK celebrated it’s 35th anniversary by bringing in some of bluegrass music’s top names and the thousands of fans who attended didn’t pay one cent to attend. The Grascals, Mountain Heart, Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder, Rhonda Vincent and the Rage, Flatt Lonesome plus several local bands entertained on three separate stages.
Festival organizers credited the hundred of volunteers as well as local businesses who provide financial support with the festival’s success.
Claremore, best known as Will Rogers’ hometown, is located about 30 miles east of Tulsa.
