An appeal from Song Of The Mountains

Event Details

Back in the summer, we wrote about the fundraising difficulties being encountered by the popular syndicated music program, Song Of The Mountains. They feature both established and up-and-coming bluegrass acts, taped before a live audience at the beautifully restored Lincoln Theater in Marion, VA.

Like so many other entities dependent on corporate and individual giving, this weekly acoustic music program has seen reliable sources of financing dry up during tough economic times this past few years.

Show host Tim White has created this video to make his appeal directly to the people who enjoy the program. I know from my own conversations with White that the show is in real jeopardy absent some significant new sources of funding.

But Tim can speak for himself.
