Happy news from Jayd Raines

Jayd Raines

When we reported last week that Randy Barnes was taking over on bass with Marty Raybon, we wondered what had become of Jayd Raines, who had just joined the band earlier this year.

We caught up with him over the weekend, and discovered that he and his wife, Selena, have big news to share.

“I made the decision that I would not be able to maintain travel on the road back in April.

With my recent return to Marty’s band in January, my wife and I found out that we would soon be first time parents. We have a baby girl on the way who is due later this summer.

Jayd Raines conducts a demonstration for a group of young visitors at Breaks Interstate Park in Breaks, VAI accepted a job as a park naturalist (my previous career of five years before taking time to tour on the road) at a State Park near my home.

Marty has been extremely understanding in my decision to leave the road. He’s my favorite singer alive, and I wish him and the rest of the band a great and busy touring schedule.

Marty has been and will continue to be one of my closest friends, and I wish Full Circle the best. They are the best bunch of guys I have ever had the privilege of running the roads and playing with.”

Congratulations to the expanding Raines family!
