Rounder rolling to Nashville

Event Details

Regina Josgow, Ken Irwin and Marian Leighton Levy visit with Bluegrass Today in Raleigh - photo by Daniel MullinsWe had a lovely chat this afternoon here in Raleigh with the crew from Rounder Records, owners Ken Irwin and Marian Leighton Levy, and Regina Joskow, Director of Publicity. They stopped by to share the news that the label will be officially moving their main office to Nashville in the near future.

Irwin said that they have been contemplating the move for some time, realizing that with so many of their artists and artist management people in Nashville, it just made sense to have a presence in town. They are looking at office space now, and hope to have everything up and running by March of 2014.

At that point, their offices in Burlington, MA will close, though both Ken and Marian will remain in the area, running their parts of the business from home. Regina will continue to work from New York.

A small staff will coordinate activities in the new Nashville office.
