Junior Sisk back in the studio

Event Details

Junior Sisk in the studio (2/2014)Fresh off their big win at SPBGMA last week, Junior Sisk & Rambler’s Choice are back in the studio working on their next project for Rebel Records. We have no information on a possible title, or songs to be included, but Junior says that he hopes to see a release in early Summer.

Recording with Rambler’s Choice at Eastwood Studio in Cana, VA is the newest member of the band. Jonathan Dillon joined Junior last August on mandolin, and has been touring with him steadily since. At 19 years of age, Dillon is already a seasoned performer, on both banjo and mandolin. The Wertz, VA native worked previously with Michelle Nixon & Drive.

Junior said that they would be tracking with the regular band – no guest artists included. Jason Davis is on banjo, Billy Hawks on fiddle, and Jason Tomlin on bass and tenor vocals. Junior is, of course, the featured lead vocalist and guitarist. Dillon handles baritone vocals.

Given the success of Sisk’s recent recordings, you can bet that expectations for this one will be high.

Here are a few images of the guys from SPBGMA.
