Road to the Opry with Bobby Osborne #3

Event Details

Here’s the third installment in Bobby Osborne’s set of video recollections in celebration of his 50th Anniversary as a member of The Grand Ole Opry.

This episode picks up where Bobby left off in volume 2, with him moving from Dayton to Fairmont, WV to play on the radio with Larry Richardson. Be sure to catch his story about running with moonshiners in the West Virginia hills, and how they met up with The Lonesome Pine Fiddlers at WHIS in Bluefield. That’s where he first recorded Pain In My Heart in 1950.
