Going Home from Crosspoint

Event Details

gonna_riseRural Rhythm Records has released a debut single, Going Home, from the upcoming album from Crosspoint, We’re Gonna Rise.

Crosspoint is based in Cumberland Gap, TN and consists of Gary Kidwell on guitar, Steve Partin on mandolin, Alan Powers on banjo, Cleve May on reso-guitar, and Daniel Oxendine on bass. All but Partin share in the singing.

We’re Gonna Rise was produced by Steve Gulley, and recorded in his Curve Studio, also located in Cumberland Gap. He speaks quite highly of these guys.

Steve Gulley“The music and men of Crosspoint represent something vital to the well being of so many of us – music with a message. I don’t believe it’s possible for anyone with a heart to listen to this music and not feel something both spiritually and emotionally.

Great music from fine men who are truly dedicated to spreading the Gospel. It also helps that they’re some of the finest acoustic musicians, singers and songwriters around. I’m so honored and humbled to have been asked to produce the new project, We’re Gonna Rise, their first for the Rural Rhythm Christian label. Full of wonderful, heartfelt songs with a purpose, this collection of music is sure to move you.”

Going Home can be downloaded now by radio programmers at Airplay Direct.

We’re Gonna Rise is set for a May 13 release on Rural Rhythm Christian.
