Lonesome River Band to Mountain Home

LRB signs with Mountain Home. Standing: Daniel Mount, Josh Trivett, Ty Gilpin, Tim Surrett, Scott Wagner; Seated: Mickey Gamble, Sammy ShelorMountain Home Music Company, a division of Crossroads Entertainment, has announced the signing of bluegrass powerhouse Lonesome River Band.

The band is expected to start on a new album this month, with plans for a release this summer.

Sammy Shelor with LRB says that he and the guys are pumped about joining new label mates like The Boxcars, Doyle Lawson, Darin & Brooke Aldridge, Balsam Range and The Grascals at Crossroads.

“Lonesome River Band is very excited about the opportunity to be a part of The Mountain Home/Crossroads Music Family. We look forward to recording this next project and having the support of such a great team. Thanks to Mickey Gamble and the rest of the team for making this a reality.”

In addition to Shelor on banjo, LRB includes Brandon Rickman on guitar, Barry Reed on bass, Mike Hartgrove on fiddle, and Randy Jones on mandolin. They have been releasing hit bluegrass albums for more than 30 years now.
