Jason Burleson out of the ICU

Event Details

jasonWonderful news from France…

We just heard again from French banjo player Jean-Marc Delon, who lives quite near the hospital where Blue Highway banjoist Jason Burleson has been treated for an internal bleed this past few days. Just as the band arrived in France for a long-planned tour, Jason became quite ill and had been in the ICU since last Friday.

Jean-Marc shared this very hopeful update:

“I saw Jason 15 minutes ago, and they have released him from ICU. He is in a regular hospital room now in the gastroenterology department.

He looks good, he says he feels weak, which is normal I guess since his blood count is still a little low. They feed him with dairy stuff for now. The gastro doctor is supposed to see him within the next few hours, I’ll let you know more as soon as I can.”

Hopefully Jason will be able to get his strength back and rejoin the tour soon.
