Jason Burleson back with Blue Highway

Event Details

Jean-Marc Delon, Jason Burleson, Barbara Defix, and Henri Gorgeus pick up Jason Burleson at the hospitalWe are delighted to report that Jason Burleson has been released from the hospital in Le Puy en Velay, France, and has been reunited with his Blue Highway brethren at the La Roche Bluegrass Festival.

Upon arriving in France last week, Jason did one performance with the band before being brought low by internal bleeding, which doctors suspect may have been caused by a medication he was taking. He had remained hospitalized since last Friday, in the ICU most of that time.

But today he is free again, resting in the hotel for another day before Blue Highway performs at La Roche on Friday and Saturday. Then on Sunday, it’s off to the airport in Geneva for the long flight back home.

I’m sure that all the guys in the band are delighted to have Jason back amongst them, and that his wife and son will be overjoyed to see him again, hale and healthy, on Sunday night.

Not what he had planned for this week, I’m sure, but all’s well that ends well.
