Bryan Russell to Hammertowne

Event Details

bryan_russellHammertowne has announced that Bryan Russell has joined the group to play bass and help with vocals. Russell is from eastern Kentucky and had spent the past few years working with Cumberland Gap Connection.

David Carroll, who plays guitar and sings with Hammertowne, tells us that Russell is a perfect fit.

“When Doug (Burchett) decided to leave for job related reasons, we were very fortunate to be able to fill the slot so seamlessly with Bryan. He’s a great vocalist and instrumentalist, and we’re excited to have him in the mix.”

Hammertowne is looking to release their second album for Mountain Fever Records early next year. A new single is expected within the next few weeks.
