Phil Roach to Cornmeal

Event Details

Phil RoachCornmeal has announced the addition of Phil Roach on fiddle to their high energy stage show. The Chicago-based group performs original music that mixes folk, rock and bluegrass elements in a jam band setting.

Phil comes to the band after playing for several years with the Giving Tree Band, and time with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestras, and Peoria Symphony Orchestra. He had also toured as part of the Midwest Young Artists., where he had a chance to irk with Mark O’Connor.

Phil joins Jason Berger on guitar and vocals, Chris Gangi on bass, Dave Burlingame on banjo, and Martin Kondziolka on drums.
