Claire Lynch has announced the newest member of her band, mandolinist Jarod Walker. Fans may recognize him from working last year with both Missy Raines and Rebecca Frazier.
Walker grew up in Florida, one of the infamously talented Walker Brothers, but lives now in central Tennessee. His brothers Cory and Tyler are also bluegrass musicians, and they made quite a noise together as young pickers in central Florida.
Jarod will be on hand when Claire & Co start their 2015 touring this weekend at the Mid-Winter Bluegrass Festival in Denver, CO, followed by a string of southwestern dates.
