Jim and Lynna Woolsey to Wilson Pickins

Event Details

Heart and Soul, Blood and Bone - Jim and Lynna WoolseyWilson Pickins Promotions has announced the signing of Jim and Lynna Woolsey to the agency for representation and publicity services.

The Indiana husband-and-wife duo are bluegrass singers and songwriters with a knack for a great song and a flair for a bluesy groove. Both are strong vocalists with Jim especially possessed of a distinctive voice that should become familiar as bluegrass radio learns more about their latest release, Heart and Soul, Blood and Bone.

Melanie Wilson believes that these two have special sound to offer to the bluegrass and acoustic music community.

“What Jim and Lynna bring to the table is something very raw and organic that can be hard to find this day in age. It comes from a very real place, it comes from the heart and I just love and respect it. I know everyone else will too and I am excited to share it.”

Jim and Lynna have been performing together for the nearly 30 years since they married, and have honed a vocal style that reminds one of sibling harmony. But it’s the songs that really stand out on this latest CD, released in August with support from Clay Hess, Mike Sumner, Mark Fain, Tim Crouch, and Randy Kohrs.

The album is available to radio programmers at Airplay Direct, and to consumers for sale at all the popular download sites, and the band’s web site where audio samples can be heard. Check it out – you’ll be glad you did.
