New album, tour, and single from Punch Brothers

Event Details

Punch Brothers

Punch Brothers, Chris Thile’s merry band of acoustic string wizards, has announced a new album, The Unsung Adventures of Punch Brothers, due July 24, an upcoming tour to promote it, and a music video for the debut single, New Bike.

The band has been together since 2006 with only one personnel change, though all the members, and its fearless leader, are involved in other projects during periods of inactivity. They have taken the bluegrass ensemble as envisioned by its creator to harmonic and storytelling heights he never could have imagined, and won them fans all across the music industry and the whole wide world.

The Unsung Adventures bring in a new wrinkle, as it is Punch Brothers’ first fully instrumental project, which they describe as their “most daring, least marketable escapade to date.”

Have a look/listen to New Bike, featuring Chris Thile on mandolin, Chris Eldridge on guitar, Noam Pikelny on banjo, Paul Kowert on bass, and newest member, Brittany Haas on fiddle.

New Bike is available now from popular download and streaming services online. Pre-orders for The Unsung Adventures of Punch Brothers are likewise enabled.

Their 2026 tour, as currently configured, can be viewed online, with tickets on sale for most shows. More dates are expected to be added as the tour approaches.
