Mast Farm Inn Emerging Artist Series at IBMA

If you’re attending IBMA this year and looking for some fresh, new, and exciting talent, you should make a point to attend the Mast Farm Inn’s Emerging Artist Series.

Henri Deschamps of the Mast Farm Inn wanted to find a way to showcase acoustic music acts that won’t be on the bigger stages next week, and thought this would be a great way to let talent buyers and fans get a little sneak peek at the stars of tomorrow.

These showcases will allow musicians and artists to market themselves with high quality promotional materials, and represent the kind of image the artists would like to show to the world. Through his Facebook page, The Bluegrass Legacy, Deschamps has built up quite a community of bluegrass lovers, and has been actively encouraging young artists to use it to co-promote one another online.

The great folks at the Mast Farm Inn, who are lifetime IBMA members, have assembled a wonderful lineup of talent for this year, including Town Mountain, Farewell Drifters, Monroeville, Rockin Acoustic Circus, Milk Drive, Della Mae, Hillbenders, Flatt Lonesome and several others.

The Mast Farm Inn will be presenting this 5 day, 24 band, jam and open mic series during IBMA’s World of Bluegrass at the Nashville Convention Center. The shows will be hosted in rooms 213-214 on the second floor of the Convention Center starting at 10:00 p.m. every night but Thursday.

If you head over to the Facebook page for the Series and click Like, you can help spread the word about this group of 24 Emerging Artists and their music.
