Doyle and the boys to sing at Vandy game on Saturday

Event Details

Bluegrass artists seem to be getting quite a workout these days before sporting events. Both in the college and professional ranks, the past few months have seen IIIrd Tyme Out, and Del McCoury taking the field to perform the national anthem before football games. Both Doyle Lawson and Monroeville have sung The Star Spangled Banner at NASCAR events in 2012 as well.

Doyle and his merry band get another shot on Saturday evening at the start of the Vanderbilt vs. Massachusetts game in Nashville at 7:00 p.m. (EDT). The game will be telecast on the ESPN 3 network, and on other regional carriers.

Sing it purty, boys!
