Dog Days from The Railroaders

The RailroadersDog Days is the name of the first radio single from The Railroaders, one of the newest groups to hit the bluegrass scene. It’s a song from Patrick Robertson, a contemporary bluegrass number that tells the classic story of a loner with a sixgun and a bottle who finds a woman determined to eschew love and marriage.

Hint: there’s a happy ending.

The Railroaders are Darren Beachly on bass (who sings lead on the single), Greg Luck on guitar, Shayne Bartley on mandolin, and David Carroll on banjo.

Here’s a taste of the single…

You’ll need to hear the full song to get the reference in the title.

Dog Days is available now to radio programmers through Airplay Direct. It will appear on the band’s debut recording later this year.
